What we collect
- Checker answers: saved in your browser only. Use Reset to clear them.
- Feedback form: if you send feedback we store the message, page address and email (if given) to improve the site. We never share or sell it.
- "Was this helpful?" clicks: stored anonymously.
- Email alerts (only if you sign up): we store your email address, the topics you chose, the consent wording and the date and time, in Cloudflare's storage. Lawful basis: your consent. We use them only to send the alerts you chose, never share or sell them, and keep them until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or we stop the alerts. Nothing is sent when you sign up.
- Nights tracker and comparison: saved in your browser only.
- Partner links: if we show a link marked "Partner", it is a paid or affiliate link. We do not share your data with partners.
- No advertising, no analytics cookies.
Frequently asked questions
Do you store what I type into the checker?
No. Your answers, your nights tracker stays and your comparison figures are saved only in your own browser (localStorage). Nothing is sent to us.
How do I delete my alert sign-up?
Use the Feedback button on any page with the words "Delete my alert sign-up" and your email address, or the unsubscribe link in any alert. We will delete your details.
